2 Knitting shops to see today!

KNit SchTICK
I have been trying to find this shop for a while and today I went on an adventure to find it! It is a really nice shop with beautiful yarns...malabrigo, oooh, and lovely wool yarns from Cascade and oodles! She had a groupon special early in December on her classes...25.00!!! I loved her samples as well!!!

Look for this sign on Bristol and turn into this shopping center!

The Sheared Sheep is just down Irvine off Bristol, and around the bend....You'll see a shopping center on a hill. Turn to the right and then right into the center, and you'll see this tucked into the corner!

What a lovely shop with lovely yarns!

Peggy was one of the owners helping me with my purchase! LOVE IT!!!

Practically Organized!!!

I have a ton of circular needles! I really have been doing the crazy thing like going through each and every one of them, searching squinting...trying to find the right size needle..so..this project has been on the back burner for me! I finally got them all done - LABELED and ORGANIZED!!!

So, each needle has the size of the needle and the length on the tag.

If you want to see more of this project, go to my stamping blog......
Hugs!

Benton's Sweater

Top down knitting is so easy and quick!
I started this on Wednesday, and although yesterday (thursday) I was so tired after work I went to bed...I should have this finished by the weekend....
It is a stringy yarn but The Lion Brand BABY Yarn is really thick and quick! (not like the Thick n Quick Yarn...but really cute ice cream colors for baby!)
I like how thick and squishy this yarn is, after knitting it up, I know it will be a nice sweater!
Let's just hope that I can get it to fit Benton! I don't have a model to make it after and the gauge for this yarn is a little bigger than the one for the pattern...sigh..always a problem..so it should be bigger than the size on the pattern, right???
hm...where's an expert knitter when I need them???

Favorites on Etsy - not made by me, but you gotta check it out!!!
